JA Designer (JAD) Download

Thank you for requesting a Download of JAD. The steps below will install JAD on your machine and each time you run the program it will check for new updates if you are online.

Please note:- It is recommended that you use Internet Explorer as your browser. Mozilla Firefox users may need to use IE in order to download JAD.

 

Installation Procedure

JAVA is required to run JAD. Press this link here if you need to Download JAVA.

1. You need to check your JAVA Setting BEFORE installing JAD.

Windows Users

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Java and open the Java folder.  Then go to the Advanced Tab > Shortcut Creation > Select Always Allow.

MAC Users

Go to Applications > Utilities>Java > Java Webstart > Select JavaWebStart from the file menu > Preferences > Desktop Applications Options > Select Always Integrate

2. JAD requires a minium of 1.5gb of RAM to run efficiently. Jorgensen Albums appreciates that users may have less then this or even more available. Please select the most apporpiate JAD download for your computer. (NOTE:- Press the icons to download)

             Windows Users

3. Once JAD has finished downloading, a message box will appear with a RUN button. Select "Always Allow" and then Press RUN.

4. JAD will Open and ask you for an Activation Code. Press "Request Activation Code"

5. Fill in your details, making sure your email address is correct. (Note:- your code will be sent to the email you provide)

6. If you select Trial Version, your code will be automatically sent to your email. If you have selected Pro Version, then your code will be emailed once payment is received. (Please allow 1 Full Business day  to process)
